Firm Description
NONAME Architecture we are a group architecture professionals, interested in multiple disciplines, from different countries, with the aim of recovering the spaces for reflection, and rethinking the conventions, as they are proposed, not only in the field of architecture, but in society itself.From NONAME we think that architecture should be able to reach everyone, regardless of social or economic level, since it is the best tool to build a better city, a better future.
We currently live in a situation in which it is no longer society that changes cities, we have a duty to change the city in order to transform society, so architecture should be available to everyone.
We do not believe in the architecture of the magazine, of propaganda, of marketing, of the architect's ego over architecture, so we decided that the name we would adopt was ARCHITECTURE WITHOUT NAME, since what matters is not in who produces, but in who we want to produce for.
We are looking for:
- Question the city we live in.
What is the reason for the ordination of our cities, the problems of social fracture, the reason for the pre-established measures, meaningless, indiscriminate mass production, without taking into account the diversity and heterogeneity of the city.
- Rethink why and for whom we build.
We would not have to build differently according to who we build, we should build good architecture regardless of the economic or material capacity we have, the good architecture is not in the material, it is in the quality of living
- Take and educate people in architecture.
Architecture constantly surrounds us all, it makes no sense that people are not educated in it, that they are not able to understand the city, appreciate it, and be able to demand a better city.
To conceive of architecture as the simple fact of building, assigning to it, characteristics that respond to functions and beauty, is undoubtedly the biggest mistake in which society is incurred.
Architecture forms a thought, a lifestyle, the way of moving in space, and also, how culture is constituted and related between individuals.
Therefore, it is necessary to keep in mind the vital role and the power that architecture represents in us.
