Following David Adjaye, Hon. FAIA's keynote on the first day of the AIA Conference on Architecture 2018, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) partner and CEO Sheela Maini Søgaard will take the stage at New York's Radio City Music Hall for a keynote presentation on the conference's second day. Søgaard, who started working at BIG in 2008, "manages the overall health and growth of the studio’s 400+ designers, thinkers, urbanists and innovators globally so they can focus on what they do best," according to a bio on the firm's website.

The second-day keynote session, scheduled for June 22 at 5:30 p.m., will also feature Gabriella Gómez-Mont, the founder of the Mexico City think-tank Laboratorio para la Ciudad; James Stewart Polshek, FAIA, the 2018 AIA Gold Medal winner; Roy Spence, a cofounder and chairman of Austin, Texas-based GSD&M; and Billie Tsien, FAIA, and Tod Williams, FAIA, the co-founders of New York firm Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects I Partners.
