vsaia announces inform award winners

The Virginia Society AIA (VSAIA), the state component of The American Institute of Architects, and its member publication, Inform magazine, recently announced the winners of the 18th annual Inform Awards. The awards program recognizes design excellence in the mid-Atlantic region (Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, and North Carolina) through Awards of Honor and Awards of Merit.

From 209 entries in the categories of interior design, landscape architecture, and object design, the jury selected 21 projects for Awards of Honor and Awards of Merit. The panel chaired by David Rifkind, assistant professor of architecture at Florida International University, included Terrence Riley, AIA, director of the Miami Art Museum, and Roberto Rovira, Assoc. AIA, assistant professor of landscape architecture at Florida International University.
