Project Description
FROM THE ARCHITECTS:
19 Dutch, the 770-foot-tall glass-clad marvel, is a collaboration between highly-regarded GKV Architects and internationally-recognized Colum McCartan. The tower features 483 residences, ranging from studios to two bedrooms. 19 Dutch’s design is inspired by the whimsical romance of the Dutch Golden Age, creating a level of design that doesn’t exist in a rental in Lower Manhattan.
The gleaming glass façade of 19 Dutch by GKV is not your typical façade, but one with a unique, patterned glass design that illuminates in direct sunlight – a nod to the revitalization of the neighborhood.
Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, a media center with private meeting rooms and communal work spaces, separate demonstration kitchen with chefs table, billiards room, café lounge, curated library with fireplace, and a children’s playroom. The building’s fitness club and terrace provide residents with spaces for boxing, cardio, TRX, weights, spinning and yoga.
On the 64th floor is the communal sky lounge – a beautifully executed roofscape that is perhaps the most breathtaking example of the Dutch principle of indoor/outdoor balance. From its enclosed sunroom and terrace gardens with unprecedented views of the skyline and waterways, residents are elevated above Lower Manhattan. Additionally, 8,100 square feet of retail is located at the base of the building.
In addition, residents are provided with a resident services coordinator, a daily hospitality cart and coffee service, chilled towel service in the fitness center, concierge and valet service—and can expect uniquely programmed, weekly resident events.
