FROM THE AIA MARYLAND
The task at hand was creating an institute
for students who want to learn how to design film making sets. Building sets
requires lighting, art, construction, and lots of space. With a small site the
challenge was to build an appealing building that appropriately addressed its
industrial location whilst also allowing for a community connection to the film
making process.
