Project Description
The VANTAGE (VANderbilt Technologies for Advanced GEnomics) Laboratory was designed to optimize an environment conducive to collaboration and acceleration of new biological and clinical discoveries by consolidating physically separate research resources into one shared facility. As an initiative by Vanderbilt University Medical Center to provide “personalized medicine”, which emphasizes prospective care as opposed to reactive care, the project creates an institutional nexus of discovery in genomics research by extending and strengthening already successful collaborations within a state of the art laboratory facility.
