To coordinate efforts initiated by a number of cities who are pursuing the evaluation of LED street lighting products, the DOE has decided to form a municipal solid-state street lighting consortium. The consortium will collect, analyze, and share technical information as well as experiences related to LED street lighting demonstrations.
