Paragon Lighting has merged with Varon Lighting Group of Elmhurst, Ill., doubling Varon’s volume. Paragon’s present management will be retained.
Charlotte, N.C.-based Nexxus Lighting has announced its intent to acquire LED lighting manufacturer Lumificient Corp. The transaction is expected to close on or before April 30, 2008. Lumificient founder Zdenko Grajcar will serve Nexxus as its chief technology officer, overseeing research and development.
Hubbell of Orange, Conn., has acquired the Kurt Versen Co., a spec-grade lighting fixture manufacturer.
