Philips Completes Color Kinetics Acquisition

Royal Philips Electronics has completed its acquisition of LED lighting system manufacturer Color Kinetics, consolidating the company within its lighting division’s luminaires business group as Philips Solid-State Lighting Solutions. Color Kinetics will operate under the co-brand of Philips/Color Kinetics in North America, Mexico, and Japan. Philips also has completed its acquisition of solid-state lighting technology company TIR Systems.
