New Material: Stratum

Stratum is a mash-up of Smith & Fong’s Plyboo bamboo plywood sandwiched between two sheets of Richlite’s FSC-certified and post-consumer-waste, paper-based surfacing material. Because it weighs 30 percent less than Richlite’s standard product, it’s easier to cut, fabricate, and install. Slabs measure 48 inches wide, 96 inches long, and 1 inch thick.
