Product designer Erin Adams partnered with New Ravenna Mosaics to release a collection of twelve tile designs that include hearts, flowers, fish, bottles, clouds, and cutlery. Adams’ 20-year career also comprises housewares- and interior design, featuring vivid-colored stained glass and graphics inspired by folk-art traditions. Her latest collection of tile mosaics receives its inspiration from myriad sources: Italian still-life painter Giorgio Morandi, Ashanti kente cloth patterns, and elements of the natural world with a Pop twist, among others, and uses the grout as a contrast in many of the designs. The collection can be installed on floors and walls in indoor and outdoor applications. New Ravenna Mosaics, www.newravenna.com. 757.442.3379.
