Andalay AC solar panels generally are installed on south-facing rooftops or in a backyard area. The AC output from the panels is wired to a home’s electrical service panel via a dedicated 240 VAC branch circuit. When direct sunlight hits the panels, their built-in micro-inverters produce AC power synchronized to the utility’s grid. Each panel’s performance can be tracked on the Internet with optional remote monitoring. Integrated racking, wiring, grounding and an inverter improves safety and reliability.
