Today, The American Institute of Architects named 20 recipients for its 2021 Young Architects Award. The winners are recognized for their "exceptional leadership and [have] made significant contributions to the architecture profession early in their careers," according to an AIA press release.

The honor is open to any AIA member licensed for fewer than 10 years by the submission deadline of June 16, 2020. The jury for the 2021 Young Architects Award comprised chair Peter Kuttner, FAIA, CambridgeSeven, in Boston; John Castellana, FAIA, TMP Architecture, in Bloomfield Hill, Mich.; Frances Halsband, FAIA, Kliment Halsband Architects, in New York; Ivenue Love-Stanley, FAIA, Stanley Love-Stanley, in Atlanta; Ryan McEnroe, AIA, Quinn Evans, in Washington, D.C., and Chris-Annmarie Spence, AIA, Wkarch, in Chicago.
