The AIA San Francisco (AIASF) chapter has announced the winners of its annual Design Awards. In the 2016 edition of the program, AIASF honored 26 projects out of a pool of more than 150 submissions, with winners announced at an event held in the newly renovated Herbst Theater at the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center.
“AIASF has so many talented design firms that, each year, the jury has their work cut out for them, and this year was no exception,” Aaron Jon Hyland, AIA, the 2016 AIASF president, said in a release announcing the award winners.
The jury for the 2016 AIA|SF Design Awards included Burton Baldridge, AIA, of Baldridge Architects; Christopher Cobb, AIA, of Chris Cobb Architecture; Robert Harris, FAIA , of Lake|Flato; and Wendy Dunnam Tita, AIA, of Page.
“Every award-winning project offers unique and distinctive design solutions to enhance the architectural experience and further demonstrates the diversity of creative and innovative projects from our talented industry,” Jennifer Jones, executive director of AIASF, said in the release.
