From opulent to understated, tile is more versatile than ever. But look closely at the almost overwhelming variety of products on display at Coverings 2025 and common a theme emerges: a return to nature, where authentic textures, earthy palettes, and sustainable innovations converge to create spaces that are as mindful as they are beautiful.
The annual tradeshow, which concluded in Orlando, Fla., earlier this month, gave architects and interior designers a firsthand look at the latest materials and technologies shaping the future of surface design, from bold statement pieces to subtle, sustainable solutions.
Here are three standouts from each pavilion: Tile of Spain, Ceramics of Italy, and the Tile Council of North America.
Spain
Natucer - Crayon Collection
The Crayon collection by Natucer features extruded ceramic wall tiles with irregular reliefs and a pearl glaze finish, creating rich texture and dynamic light effects.
