The following is a press release from DuraBrite Lighting Solutions announcing that the Jersey City, N.J.–based LED lighting manufacturer and designer has organized the donation of over 400,000 N95 masks to hospitals to help with COVID-19 relief efforts.

DuraBrite Lighting Solutions, a leading provider of high-output, high-efficient LED fixtures for commercial and industrial applications, is leveraging existing relationships with its worldwide suppliers to organize a massive donation of 400,000+ N-95 Masks to hospitals throughout the United States.

DuraBrite is an official, approved and trusted vendor of the New Jersey Hospital Association and is now dealing directly with hospitals throughout New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, California and Florida to ship supplies of N-95 masks.

“We’re all in this together and DuraBrite was pleased to contribute whatever we can to get vital medical supplies into the hands of the people who need them throughout the State,” said Michael Morris, President of DuraBrite Lighting Solutions. “There’s a frightening shortage of medical supplies for our nurses, doctors and public workers and we thought we should leverage our existing contacts and suppliers to help during this unprecedented time in world history.”

DuraBrite initially purchased 4,000 masks from its existing supplier. DuraBrite President Michael Morris then also elicited donations from DuraBrite customers over social media, resulting in outside companies like the Gulish Group of Morristown NJ raising an additional $16,212–on a GoFundMe page–to be able to purchase approximately 5,000 additional masks. Additional funding was raised through social media and DuraBrite customers/contacts to enable the purchase of hundreds of thousands of masks.

“We are completely floored by the response we’ve have received from generous businesses and individuals throughout the State of New Jersey, Morris continued. “The numbers of donations grow by the minute and it’s hard to keep up with all the love and support that our business community is offering to individuals who are on the front lines of fighting this horrible virus.”
