Opening week of the 13th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale has been filled with pavilions, models (of the architectural persuasion), star sightings, and even some randomness, but alas, it has drawn to a close. ARCHITECT’s correspondent Ian Volner took in some sights around Venice this morning, including one final trip to the Giardini, before heading home. And if you didn’t make it to Venice this week? Not to despair: the biennale is open to the public for a full three months, and all of the exhibitions (including “Spontaneous Interventions,” which received the first-ever jury nod for the United States at the biennale) will be on view until Nov. 25.
